MOJO PARK, Thimphu
The Babyboomers, a rock band from Bhutan, will be priemiering their first music video on BBS2 Music Spotlight March 24th at 7:30pm "Can't Buy Me Love" by the Beatles.
The band is having a music video release party at Mojo Park doors open at 6pm - You are invited to come down and watch the show with us at 7:30 and then the band will perform life after the show. Entrance is free but we are asking for donations which will go towards the video expenses and the production of their first album, "Born to Late" a project in collaboration with Aine Carey, Get Karma Productions, and MStudio.
The release is designed to celebrate all the people involved in the creation of art, have fun, meet cool people, support the babyboomers and raise awareness of and support for budding music scene in Thimphu. Support from the Press is appreciated and welcome.
It is the boys dream to have a well equipped rehearsal space where they can practice and create original music in a nurturing creative environment. We are currently seeking a patron or patrons for the band who are interested in supporting the boys to become professional musicians in Bhutan.
Thanks and we hope to see you Monday!
